I am currently teaching at Mount Holyoke College. My research is in industrial organization with an interest in applied microeconomics, applied econometrics, and the application of statistical learning techniques in economics. My current research is in the craft beer segment within the US beer industry. The research focuses on the causes of the rapid growth of craft beer and the competitive effects state alcohol laws have on craft breweries' entry and production decisions. I have a strong passion for teaching and getting students engaged in what they are learning, as I find it extremely rewarding.
